Arlo Pro 2 batteries need recalibrating? Only lasts 4 days. Purchased through eBay.

Just bought replacement batteries for Arlo Pro 2 through eBay. They are genuine Arlo batteries. Only problem is they only lasted 4 days on a charge. Original ones lasted months. Seller is telling me I need to recalibrate the batteries by running them down to zero and recharging to 100% then repeating the process. Does anyone know if this is reasonable?

Never heard of it before with Arlo batteries... ( many fakes on the market with batteries in general )

Personally, I'd send them back and order directly.
