My Arlo Pro 2 cameras' live streaming is not working with IOS 16 on our iPhone 14 Pro Max. It is working on our Android phone. It was working with prior versions of IOS on an iPhone X. Same problem with our Arlo video wired doorbell.

Also, on my iPhone, when I go to settings support, my devices are not listed there. When I look at Settings::Shared Devices and I click either camera or the doorbell, the app says the device is offline. Note that on my Android, everything is reported as online and works fine.

Camera firmware: 1.125.17.1_11_de8490d

Doorbell firmware: 1.16.1.0_1366_668e52c_6812ee

Problem solved. In a nod to The IT Crowd, all I had to do was unplug the base and plug it back in again. 😂

Here's how I came to that conclusion. For the past week I was getting a warning for my base saying that it required a firmware update. Each day, I updated the firmware, but the next day the same warning would return. So I looked up that error on Arlo Community and saw that this may mean that there is a faulty firmware update release and the way to clear it out is to unplug and re-plug the base. So I did that and after that, the iPhone live stream started working again.

Perhaps the faulty firmware upgrade was preventing a real upgrade to occur to fix the IOS 16 issue? Who knows. Bottom line is that it all works now.

Just want to confirm that the iPhone is using a friend account, and that the Android device is using the primary account.  Is that correct?

I believe that is correct. Just to clarify what you mean by friend account, my email address is on the account and I granted access to my wife's email address. I have the Android and she has the iPhone.

I should also mention that she is still able to access the camera videos in the library. The problem is just with her accessing the live stream.

You mght want to try resharing the camera.

I just tired but that did not work. iPhone can still access library but still cannot access cameras or doorbell live stream. Note that the live stream does come on for a second but then it changes to unable to access (as it had before).

Does this happen both when the phone is connected to your home wifi and when it is connected only to mobile data?

It happens in both cases, when using wifi and when using our mobile data.

Did you try uninstalling/reinstalling the app?

Also, are you running iOS 16.1.1?

Yes and yes.

Ok.

Unfortunately I am out of ideas on what to try (other than possibly creating a different Arlo account, and sharing the cameras to that one).
