Long story short, I had a camera for my front yard and it worked great. Then all of a sudden had a hardware malfunction which caused me to have to send it back to Arlo for a replacement. I received the replacement and now whenever it records, it records only 5 mintue videos even if there isnt any motion. I read a couple of other threads and tried some of the suggestions like removing the battery, removing and readding the device, which no luck. Any one else have this happen to them or a suggestion for a solution? I greatly appreciate it.

Can you check what mode is set in the mode page. Edit that mode and edit the camera rule.
Edit the record action and see what setting has been chosen.
Most likely it will be the record until motion stops which is the default.
You can set this to manual fixed length recording with a duration of 20 seconds and save.
Observe if the new recordings are correct length.
Report back your findings.

Ok I will do that. I just find it so weird that the original camera didn't do this and the settings are the same now as they were then.
