Suggest using wireless mesh to improve distance. Also, allow grids for choosing area to monitor for movement.

Re: grids, good idea. With zones on an AC powered camera you can define up to three zones to monitor which sort of duplicates what you can do with turning individual cellls in a grid on and off for dectection. I find I can position my 3 zones to cover what I need to trigger motion and ignore other parts in view.
The Arlo cameras and base station are on their own network so would need their own Netgear Arlo mesh. For the cost of buying a mesh network you can buy another Arlo base station to cover another part of your house or property.
