Hi  all

I have purchased an Arlo Pro 2 system with 4 cams. Unfortunaltey the night vision is fogged in every place inside the house with 3 of 4 cam. I checked your community and have seen that this is known bug in your Arlo 2 cams. Nothing is reflecting.
Is this bug fixed with Arlo 3? Can you confirm this general issue that with Arlo 2 cams that I can bring it back to the store and if it is fixed with Arlo 3 purchase this version. Thanks.

Kind regards

It is not a known bug - it's the fact that reduced light causes the camera to have to switch to B&W and use the IR LEDs to be able to get any useful recording. Adding external lighting helps. If this isn't the problem, post screenshots for us to see.

The problem is not black & white. You just see nothingarlo night.PNG

I tested the same position with another cam (Instar) and it worked fine in the night. However I think I have found the problem. I used 180 degree mode the case as I wanted to use a power source which is  impossible with the  camera mount VMA1100 .. therefore I flipped the cam and solved with the 180 degree mode (which is I think the solution for this problem).

When I turn off the 180 degree mode the night vision works. So I either have a power source or a night vision working ... this is really bad.

The rotation setting should have nothing to do with night vision. Start by removing and resyncing the camera to see if that helps. If not, swap at the store or use the Contact Support link at the bottom here.
