I have existing cameras with IR LEDs for night vision. This attrects spiders and I often get webs right in front of the camera. The webs are highly reflective - they obscure the view and also trigger motion alerts. Is there anything in the Arlo Pro 2 to reduce or eliminate this problems?

No, you need to manually keep them clear.

BTW, I don't think the IR is attracting spiders - I have spider webs in front of cameras that rarely get used.

Clean the spiders off the camera. Then wipe peppermint oil or insect spray liquid around the base of the mount

Thanks V8,

Every few few weeks sounds fine. Much less frequent than current regimen.

I am not able to find USA listings for Spider Ex (the way I see it spelled). Many listings in the UK. Do you know of sources in the USA?

Sorry buddy I don't; apologies I didn't realise. I would assume there is an equivalent i.e StarBrite Spider Away
