I’ve lost the modes which I’ve added to my system, now twice within less than a month. Why?

Out of interest, are you using Basic activity zones on any cameras?
If you remove or delete a device from your account it may delete the mode that contains the camera rule. This is just a guess.

I have done nothing different to any of my cameras before my modes just disappear. I’ve just about had it with the arlo system.

This is something that I believe you should relay to Arlo support. Get a case number so they can track your problem.
I have and even sent them desktop recordings of the web browser on the PC showing how schedules, modes, rules get either deleted or altered when using the basic activity zones.
