I recently changed phones to a Samsung Galaxy A8 is this phone not equipped to send notifications?

The above instructions from Samsung will not work on the Samsung Galaxy A8 you have to go into Samsung Smart things and add the netgear arlo device in my case ArloPro 2 camera. so forget the other stuff and do this I tried it it works

Do you have your push notifications enabled in your mode for the camera? To see this go to Mode > Select the desired mode > Rules (pencil) > Alerts > Push Notifications.
