Hi,

Geofencing stopped working today. Nothing changed on the phones (settings, app version etc.)

Both phones show as 'unavailable'.

Have removed the phones from geofencing, saved, readded, saved - no change

Removed special characters and spaces from phone name - removed from geofencing, saved, readded, saved - no change

Removed App, Reinstalled App - no change

Checked all permissions, toggled them off/on - no change

Is it possible to provide a 'service status' option and notification when your services go offline? This is obviously something caused at the Netgear end as the location of the phone shows correctly on the map in the geofencing settings whilst displaying 'unavailable' for the device.

Perhaps you could turn Netgear services off and on again and check your settings? Smiley Tongue

BTW - vmb4000 doesn't show in your 'model' list above.

Hey per1y,

Which phones do you have that show geofencing is not working?

Hi Jessica,

iPhone SE and iPhone XS.

Strange thing is, it all started working again without any further action required on my part, although I'll caveat that with the fact we haven't checked the last out/first in as we went out together.

Happy to provide any further feedback if it can help others though.

This is an intelligent suggestion. 👍
