I am trying to setup my VMS4430P system that I purchased on Sep 14, 2018. I have two issues I need help with:
1) I can not set the action after detection(video and/or audio) to trigger the Siren. All I find in "Add Mode" is Reocrd or Do Nothing for each device. I fact, I do not see how I can manually set of the siren.
2) During the initial Arlo account signup, I created this "device" I called it "Base". All I can do with it is change the name. It looks like the base with a bell overlaid. WHAT IS IT????? See attached photo.
I have talked to Tech support and they were no help.

To turn the siren on in your modes, edit the rules and use the Add Device selection near the bottom of the rule. You can choose to turn the siren on there.
In Settings, My Devices, the top base is the physical base. The inset one just below is just for the naming of the siren if you choose.

jguerdat,
Thanks for getting back with answers. I have two more questions:
1) How do I adjust the sensitivity of the IR sensor? I am running the cameras on battery so do not have the adjustable zone option. I have found the "Motion Detection Test" mode in the Setting section for each camera. I have adjusted the slider down to 35% but if I go back, it shows 80%.
2) My household has 2 iPhone and 2 iPads all using the same email address. Who gets the "Push" alerts? Does only the last logged in iphone or ipad get the "Push" alerts.

The sensitivity is set in your modes and rules. Read the FAQs here on how to modify and create your own custom modes. Basically, use the Mode tab, select your base and edit/create any modes. The sensitivity settings are in the ruyles for each camera. Be sure to save at every opportunity.
Push notifications are global. All devices will get them unless you go into a device's settings and disable the Arlo ones.

I created a new mode and was able to set the camera’s sensitivity. However, I would like to schedule this new mode as I set up in the Schedule Mode. There is no way that I can see.
As ideas?
Thanks

Guru,
i found the “Mode” switch in the Schedule mode setup. It was in “Armed” and I switch to my new custom mode.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I find that the Arlo software is not the most user friendly that I have ever used. The sensitivity setting should be under each camera’s settings in the “Settings” section rather than the “Mode” section.
POOR!

Nope, it's correct. Many of us use different sensitivity settings for different times of day so a setting in Settings wouldn't be appropriate - one size doesn't fit all.
As for the schedule, edit the schedule in the same way you would edit a mode. Then use Add for as many time periods as needed, using different modes for different times of day if needed. Note that you can't span days through midnight so use something like 10PM-11:59PM on one day and then 12AM to 6AM on the next. I believe there's an FAQ on this, too.
