From this morning 5June the Arlo app on my iPad stopped working when it has been fine until now. The iPad is model MD523X/A and is limited to iOS 10.3.4.
I have both reinstalled the app which will not proceed past the Feb 2020 version and restarted the iPad. My iPhine which is also limited to iOS 10.3.4 did update and is working fine. So why does the iPad app not work.
Advice appreciated.

Hi AussieRTM1,
For iOS device, the Arlo app requires iOS version 11 or higher for all future product and app enhancement updates. You can read more about it here: What are the minimum requirements for installing and using my Arlo system?

Jessica I do understand that future enhancements require iOS 11.
The issue is that my iPad using iOS 10.3.4 was working fine until Thursday morning at 4.00am EST Brisbane time with the version of the app I had been using when a camera was activated. I tried to reinstall that version because the app appeared to no longer be working correctly.
When I went to the Apple App Store it informed me that I could not download the current Arlo App version and asked did I wish to get the most recent compatible Arlo App version. When I indicated to proceed on that basis it still gave me the 1 Feb 2020 App version 2.12.3 (1927) which I was lead to believe did not work on iOS 10.3.4.
So the problem appears to be that the Apple App store does not have access to the app version suitable for iOS 10 or is not functioning correctly for the Arlo apps.
Either way that should be a concern for Arlo as I have no doubt like last year the company still has many users with iOS 10 and they should be able to use their product based on the specifications when sold to them by Arlo especially when that might only be as recent as 12 to 18 months ago.
I should not have to buy a new iPhone every year at $1000 just so I can keep using my system when it was sold on the basis of a working app for my iOS version. I do not require all the enhancements just good old basics and I should be able to rely on the product I was sold to remain functional.
I will watch with interest to see if Arlo addresses the concern.
