Arlo 2 and blue light on when recording

My Arlo 2 is plugged in. The blue light starts to flicker when it is recording. I have it off blue light turned off for full battery. But it is still flickering when it records. So everyone knows when it is recording. Help!

I would start by removing power and reinserting the battery to reset the camera.
