App Issue. Unable to Accept Invitation Arlo Pro 2

Arlo account in my name for years. Added husband  but for some reason the past couple of years he can’t access.

Repeated attempts to add him again were unsuccessful.

Today did a factory reset. Still problems adding him. Found a great how-to video. I had both his and my devices and got to the “create account” screen and did that. Then while accepting the legals, screen closed. I did not receive an email saying he had accepted. Started over by resending the invitation. Tried to “Create account” again but said he already had an account. SO, tried to sign him in but “Safari cannot open the page because address is invalid.” WTH???

SO FRUSTRATING. Any suggestions? TIA😬

My some strange magic, finally after two years…SUCCESS!

The solution: I went to Arlo website, signed in as him and deleted his account. At some point last year while trying to fix it, he had somehow briefly become the main acct holder. I guess that account had never been deleted and…it didn’t even have any cameras listed.🤷‍♀️

Invited him again. No problem. He did have to download the app though. It’s been painful. LOL. All is well, finally. Your willingness to help was enormously appreciated. Thank you so much.

The simplest solution is to just have your husband use your Arlo credentials on his phone.

 

Arlo didn't allow that back in the day, but that changed some years back.

Thank you for the reply. I went on his iPhone. Downloaded the app. Changed his email address to mine, so he could access as me. Couldn’t complete because the address is already being used.

Maybe that’s not what you were suggesting?

You're just trying to log in, correct? No need to create a new account - at the login prompt, just use your email address and password.
