Hi All,
As for the Arlo Pro 2, is it able to record continuously to the local storage? The Base Station has USB ports for a connection there the hard disks.
Will the video record be performed in the loop? What's the loop? 24hours, 3 days, etc? Could it be defined?
For outdoor usage, in order to record the video, should the camera be on the same WiFi network as its base station?
Thank you!

To be clear, only the Pro base can be used for a USB drive for local staorage.
It will not record continuously. It will only record detected events, the same as what's recorded to the cloud. The advantage is that it will continue to record all events in case the Internet connection is lost. IF you want 24/7 video, you'll have to use an AC powered camera and subscribe to CVR although that will not be recorded at any time to the local drive - it's cloud-based only. That means you lose the stream during an Internet outage.
