Hi there,
Just bought an additional Arlo Pro 2 to supplement my existing 3 cameras which are working fine.
Sadly, after many attempts I have not been able to sync this additional camera to my hub ...
Quite naturally, I already went through all the standard recommendations/procedures explained in the FAQ's
Thanks in advance for any hint or trick to fix this issue ...

The manual method is to briefly press the base sync button - don't hold it - and then the camera button. What do the LEDs on the base and cameras show when performing this action? Normally it would be a slow blue blink on the camera followed by a rapid one but if you see rapid amber then there's no connection. It may be that the previous owner still has the camera in their account which could account for not being added to your account.

Hi jguerdat,
Many thanks for your insights ...!!!
Even with the rapid blue blinking (and no amber..) pairing is not working ...
But, You are right ...
Most probably, the previous owner is not aware of the fact he does have to remove his camera for his account, in order for the camera to be attached to a different network ...(mine...)
I will try to contact him to relay this info.
Again, many thanks for your help !!!
Cheers

Just to add, there have been a number of complaints about legacy cameras (Pro 2 and older) appearing to sync but not showing up in the app. About the only thing that MAY help is to migrate to the new interface that uses Feed to view recordings rather than the old Library. The app supports both.
If you choose to migrate, choose to install a Pro 5 even though you don't have one. The first step is to migrate the account after which you can back out of the bogus install. Note that the interface is significantly different and custom modes do not migrate. You should also check all modes, rules, schedules, geofencing, settings, etc. to ensure everything is set up as you need. Here's an FAQ that should help some:

Hi jguerdat,
Your invaluable comments are really worth Billions !!!
Many thanks for all this very handy information, especially in this modern world where tools and interfaces tend to become more and more complex ... while the initial promise was "Simplification"
Again, many thanks for all your very precious knowledge !!!
Take Care
