I have a 5 camera system with no subscription plan. I'd like to add 2 (or more) Arlo Pro 2 cameras, I know I will have to pay extra to view/access them.

Questions:

*  I want to keep my free access to 5 cameras, and only pay a subscription for each additional camera. Is this possible?

* What is the cost?

*  Can I continue to use the same Base station? (VMB4000)

*  Can I view all 7 cameras (or more) on the app, like I can with the current 5 cameras?

*  Anything else I may need to know, or may change if I add more cameras?

Thanks!

Thanks for answering that. At least I know.

Clearly, not worth it to pay $60.00 a month / $720 annually just to add 2 more cameras.

Well, I guess I won't be adding any cameras.

You'll need to purchase a Premier or Elite plan plus additional discounted single cameras so you have a plan for 7. You can see the cost by going into Settings, Subscription. Nothing changes - use the same base and app for all cameras.

So will I have to pay a monthly fee for each camera (7) or just the 2 I'm adding?

All since you went over the 5 camera per account limit.

As jguerdat said you would need the 5 camera plan for premier that is $9.99 and then a single subscription for each of the other two. They are discounted by half since you  would have the premier. That would be $3.00.

So about $13.00 a month plus tax. Not where you saw $60.00 or misunderstood.

My bad. Thanks for correcting me.

Is there any quality difference between the Premier plan and No Plan?

Nope. Only with the newer cameras that require a subscription is there a difference with Premier getting 2k videos and Elite getting 4k (if the cameras support it).
