I have 4 Arlo
Pro 2 cameras. All are connected to the same hub in the exact same way. Two cameras stopped recording and the error message says the activity zone is disabled, connect to AC. The other two devices have no problem. They are recording and saving in the library as before. I powered the AC source on and off and connected the non working cameras to AC but once removed I got the same error message. Can you help me fix this?

Without AC power or a subscription activity zones won't work. It would seem that you have defined such a zone for the camera so to remove the message, delete the zone(s).

No I have one set up with the security light and that doesn't work, kinda sounds like nonsense anyway how would the energy source affect the ability to adjust it.
And why would buying a subscription suddenly fixed it.
That whole plug in thing is a scam answer by arlo to throw you off

Nope. The difference is that with AC power the camera can process the zones. Otherwise, it's a subscription feature so the servers do the processing (without the external power, the battery would deplete more quickly).

NO
I have 1 attached to a sensor so I never need to do the battery.
YOU CAN NOT FIND ACTIVITY ZONE ANYWHERE.
Because I read on Arlos direction I ran a extension with one of my 6 arlo usps chargers and plugged in Two different cameras separately.
Plugging them in doesn't work to get an activity zone.
How did you get 8t on your arlo pro 2 camera

I'm sorry but I think you have to start a post about it. Personally I haven't had your problem yet.
I've had the system for years I don't understand why activity zone were taken away 8ts the sole purpose of a motion activated camera.
It's obvious to me they are doing this so you have to buy a subscription. I just don't understand why they didn't just leave the older device that worked alone since the only improvement is the resolution and battery life

If you see "Library" in your app menu, then look here:
If you instead see "Feed" and "Dashboard", then look here:

What do you mean by "attached to a sensor"????
Are you talking about a solar panel? Or something else?
FWIW, getting activity zones with no subscription requires connection to AC power. The panel isn't enough.

There was available a sensor light that had a acceptable usb charger for the pro 2.

Never said you were talking about Library Filters.
There are two very different app interfaces. One shows "Library" in the app menu. The other does not show "Library" at all, but instead shows "Feed" and "Dashboard".
Navigation to the activity zone settings depends on which interface you have. Since we don't know that, I gave you both links.

So you are talking about using the Arlo Light's charger. Not connecting the camera to a sensor.
