Hi All,

Can you help me with, if should use an external hard drive or a USB flash drive for 24/7 recording.

Any suggestion on the best brand for durability.

Thanks.

You can NOT use a speed stick or hard drive for 24/7 recording.... the backup usb port will only record Triggered events of motion.

If you want 24/7 then you must purchase the CVR plan and it is cloud based.

Will the USB drive record triggered events from all cameras?

Thanks.

All cameras connected to the base, yes. You can have multiple bases and cameras connected to those so oly the cameras connected to a base can be recorded on that base.
