Why does it take 10+ sec to connect to any of my device for LIVE view?

Every-time I connect to any of my device (3 floodlight cameras & one wire-free doorbell) , it usually takes around 10 sec to provide a LIVE view. Also any notification that I receive is usually delayed than any peer product in market. Why Arlo is not doing anything about the latency of these events? Is it possible to store the data on local hard drive which can make this faster since its going to be local network only?

Arlo is a cloud based security solution. A slight delay when initiating a live stream is expected because the camera must communicate with the cloud to initiate the stream.
