We added a Pro4 Camera and we can't get it to record properly.
It either would record for about 15 seconds and stop even though there was still activity. Now it will record for a full 2 minutes whether there is 10 seconds of activity or 5 minutes. So if there is still activity you only get 2 minutes. If there is 10 seconds of activity you get an addition 1 min. 50 sec. of NOTHING. Extremely annoying and I'm having trouble thinking this should just be returned. In addition, the nighttime visibility even with the light (which is why we purchased it) isn't garbage.

It's important to note that when using the record activity until motion stops feature, the motion that initially triggered the camera needs to constantly be in range to allow the recording to continue. If the motion is no longer within PIR range at any point (even if it is still within the cameras field of view) motion detection will cease and the recording will end.
It sounds like you've adjusted your modes to a fixed recording length if all recordings are now 2 minutes.
You might consider adjusting the motion sensitivity and using the record activity until motion stops setting and test again. The position and angle of the camera also factor in when troubleshooting motion detection issues so it may take some trial and error to find the perfect balance between sensitivity and camera position to achieve the desired results.
