How can I get my Arlo phone app to connect more reliably with the cameras & the hub?

I have a spotty connection between my phone (running the Arlo app) and both of my Ultra cameras. I am able to connect some of the time, but much of the time, I can not view live cameras. This creates a security problem for me.

 

Also, I have a very spotty connection between my phone and the Arlo hub. I am only able to connect to the hub to view local recordings approximately 20% of the time. 80% of the time, the app fails to connect with the hub. Once again, this creates a security issue.  The main reason I purchased the two cameras and the hub was to provide enhanced security at my property.

These could be symptoms of poor signal strength or WiFi interference. The best way to test is to temporarily relocate the camera close to your SmartHub and see if you still experience the same behavior. If you do, this may mean you need to reposition the SmartHub or cameras so that they maintain or more stable connection.
