xfinity modem issues

Arlo hub causing 'xfinity modem issues.

Has anyone had issues with their modems having issues due to voltage on the eithernet connection from the Arlo hub. Hub type. Vmb 4540 i checked 2 of my nieghbors..they all had voltage on their hubs.

Since it is electrical, there will be some voltage/current flowing through the cable when either the hub or the router is trying to communicate.  But I don't think a normal meter would show it.

Can you provide more information on how you are making this measurement, and what voltage/current you are seeing?  How do you know the voltage is coming from the hub, and not the xfinity gateway?

One thing you might try is disconnecting the coax from the gateway, and see if the measurement changes.
