I am interested in purchasing the new Security System and have a few pre-sales questions.
1. Cellular & Battery Backup comes with a pre-inserted SIM card. What carrier does this support (AT&T or Verizon) or is this only activated with Professional Monitoring?
2. How much does professional monitoring per month cost?
3. Keypad Sensor Hub has an integrated built-in siren. What is the decibels (dB)?
4. Can you program the Chime 2 to be an extra siren? If not is there going to be a future product (siren) to purchase and extend the (dB) throughout the premise?
5. Keypad Sensor Hub has motion detection. Is the sensor in the front and/ or sides of the hub device? (determining the placement of device in a room)
6. Does the Security System support the Arlo Ultra SmartHub?
7. What integration does the Security system have with Apple Homekit (Home)? What features are available?
8. What batteries does the All-in-One Sensor require?
9. What workflows can be configured if the a sensor is triggered (an event)? Example; can all cameras turn on recording

FlyingToasters,
1. Cellular & Battery Backup comes with a pre-inserted SIM card. What carrier does this support (AT&T or Verizon) or is this only activated with Professional Monitoring?
A: The Arlo Cellular and Battery Backup device includes a pre-installed SIM card. The pre-installed SIM card in your Arlo Cellular and Battery Backup device does not require configuration and will automatically activate when subscribed to Arlo Professional Monitoring plan.
2. How much does professional monitoring per month cost?
A: Arlo Home Security system comes with a professional monitoring trial plan. After the trial plan expires, an Arlo Safe & Secure Pro subscription plan will be required to continue enjoying the same benefits. For more information on subscription plans and pricing, take a look here: https://kb.arlo.com/88/What-are-the-available-Arlo-subscription-plans-and-how-much-cloud-recording-i...
3. Keypad Sensor Hub has an integrated built-in siren. What is the decibels (dB)?
A: The Siren is 90dB at a distance of one meter from the Hub.
4. Can you program the Chime 2 to be an extra siren? If not is there going to be a future product (siren) to purchase and extend the (dB) throughout the premise?
A: We plan to make integrations like this available some time after launch. Stay tuned for future accessory and feature announcements.
5. Keypad Sensor Hub has motion detection. Is the sensor in the front and/ or sides of the hub device? (determining the placement of device in a room)
A: For best performance we recommend laying the sensor flat and at a height of at least 1 meter. The screenshot below shows the location of the motion sensor.
6. Does the Security System support the Arlo Ultra SmartHub?
A: The Arlo Home Security System can work independently without Arlo cameras, SmartHubs, or Base Stations. If you do have an Arlo camera, it will work seamlessly with the Arlo Home Security System, and the Arlo Secure app.
7. What integration does the Security system have with Apple Homekit (Home)? What features are available?
A: More information about HomeKit integration will be made available post-launch.
8. What batteries does the All-in-One Sensor require?
A: The Arlo Home Security System All-in-One Sensor uses (1) replaceable coin cell CR2477 lithium battery.
9. What workflows can be configured if the a sensor is triggered (an event)? Example; can all cameras turn on recording
A:Yes. Sensors can be triggered on motion to send notifications, start recordings, etc. You will have more configuration options available depending on what Arlo devices you have in your ecosystem. As we move closer to launch, we’ll have more documentation available detailing how to set up these configurations and all of the different options you have with the sensors.
