Wanting a webcam to watch home construction

I am currently running a base station and 6 arlo Pro2 cameras in a woodshop. I am getting ready to build a house on the property and would like a webcam out front to record the progress. The distance is too far to add an additional camera (out of range) and I'm told you can't extend the range of individual cameras. I'm thinking about an Arlo go but was wondering if the cellular service is the only mode of operation for it. After the house is built, I would like to use it as a standard camera without cellular service, otherwise it gets expensive for a few months of operation.  Any thoughts or other options?
