Unable to get Geofencing working on second phone. Tried repositioning and renaming.

Isn't it time for a complete rebuild of this flakey app, i've been unable to get geofencing to work on a second phone for at least 4 years regardless of the model of the handset. recently I've repositioned my cameras and tried to rename them, I've tried doing it on my laptop which always shows as an unrecognised device asks to send authentication to my mobile but the push notifications never arrive so I have to do it via email. the cameras always revert back to the original name whatever device I try to do it on, I've tried every solution in the forum none work.

although the hardware of this system seems robust the software is the worst of any app I've ever used.

Geofencing mode does work, but only for the primary mobile phone, the second phone is picked up as either in or out of the zone for a day or two then shows as unavailable or in the zone when it’s out or visa versa.

This has been the case for many years despite the many different fixes suggested like removing apostrophe’s.

Geofencing works fine for other systems like Honeywell thermostats for instance but for Arlo judging by the many hundreds of posts on the forum over the years there is obviously a major flaw.
