My partner's phone updated to the new Arlo app however mine as not. I have the old UI and he has the new. I am the account holder and invited him. He also has administrative rights. When we were on the same app, we could both see and control the cameras (armed to disarmed etc). However now we are on different apps, suddenly he could no longer see the cameras or control them, only I can. We then switched account owner by reinstalling everything and making him the account owner and he invited me. However same problem persists but in the reverse. I now have no access to and control of the cameras ie to arm and disarm them. For some reason, I cannot get the new app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. Updated to the new IOS etc. There is no Arlo phone support in the UK and Arlo has not answered my emails asking for help. This is an unacceptable situation that seems to be due to the app upgrade and my partner having the new app and I do not. There seems to be no way for me to upgrade my app. How can you upgrade only one person in the same household and not the other? We paid a lot of money for this system and people within the same household need to have equal access and control. This is an unsustainable situation and we cannot get any support from Arlo, so now turning to this forum for help.

FWIW, the app supports both user interfaces (and has for almost two years now). Which interface you get depends on how your account is set up in the Arlo Cloud.
There is a hack to force migration to the new user interface: Go into "add device" and start to add a Pro 5s camera. While you cannot complete that process without the camera, it will migrate you to "Feed" before you get stuck.
However, there have been issues posted here on folks using the Arlo Go camera with Feed. So I suggest that instead of migrating your account, that you consider:
- reinstalling the Go camera to your account
- having your partner use your account credentials on their phone
Arlo didn't used to allow multiple logins, but they changed that some months ago.
