Just purchased an arlo cam for use with at&t and the battery is defective

Arlo just told me that at&t has to replace their defective battery. When I activated the camera it took over two hours because noone there knew what arlo was. How do they expect at&t to warranty there camera?

Are you able to exchange the camera at the location you purchased it from?

 

What issue are you experiencing that indicates the battery is defective?
