Can't create an account with invitation link. Receiving "Invalid Email Address" error.

Trying to add friends and grant access to my account. Using browser interface. They get the invitation emails but when they try to create an account with the email link system gives error message "Invalid Email Address". Tried with 2 different emails. And yes email-addresses used are correct (@gmail.com and corporate account). Tried with different browsers (Chrome&Edge, latest) and laptops.
