1-I have read info of both ,but Please I still need to know the deferents between Arlo pro(140$#) and Arlo go(490$#).not clear yet.
2-And what is the importance of the station base?

1) Alro Pro is a wifi based connection to the base unit. The base hooks into your router via ethernet cable.
Arlo GO ( not released yet ) is stand-alone camera that is celluar based...that is, it has a celluar data modem built in to it to transmit the video
2) the Base units for Arlo and Arlo PRO set up a wifi network that will link to the cameras ONLY

The Q series is self contained and hooks directly to your home wifi so doesn't need a base
