Hi,
I am having an used Arlo Go here, purchased on eBay. The camera is in a „boot loop“, continuously restarting without ever making it to a point where you could actually use the synch button to use the QR code for resetting it to factory settings.
Is there any solution or should I ask for a refund?
I documented the boot loop with a little video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/TvD8aoRPEwknu84w7

The solid amber at the end has a couple of meanings:

  • No SIM card is inserted or the SIM card is damaged.
  • During a sync, the battery charge is low.
  • During the motion detection test, motion is detected.

The first two are relevant here (since you aren't running the motion detection test).  Is the SIM compatible with the camera?

The pattern at the beginning is supposed to mean that the camera is trying to update it's firmware.  If that is the case, then the low battery indication above might be the issue (as the camera can't update the firrmware if it can't access mobile data).
