Hello,

I have an issue with my Arlo Go. Its video and online functions stopped working and I suspect the expired cloud services to be the reason.

Poorly, I first decided to reset my device to see weather it may be a technical problem.
Then i tried to renew the cloud subscription via the app but it told me that this would only be possible if the camera is connected, which because of the reset wasn´t the case anymore.

Connecting the camera doesn´t work either. Apparently due to the ended cloud support.

I recently made sure that the sim-card ist still active and can be used.

In conclusion:
Is there a way to connect my Arlo without having a current cloud subscription?
Or is it possible to renew the subscription whithout having the Arlo connected to the App?

Thanks a lot in advance

Greetings from Germany
Kai

The Go camera doesn't need a subscription - it's one of the legacy devices that gets the automatic, free 7 day plan.

How did ypou reset? Did you use the QR code found in the FAQ for resetting the Go? Did you remove the camera from Settings, My Devices before trying to reconnect it?

Well that´s interesting, but thanks first of all.

Yes: I used the QR-Code shown in the FAQs.

I think I also deleted it from "My devices" but I´m not sure. At least it isn´t listed there, anymore so I would say yes.

If trying to connect the camera in a different location (to ensure a good cell service connection) doesn't help, use the Contact Support link at the bottom here.

Seriously? I don't need a plan?

You don't need a paid subscription for cloud storage.  Of course you do need a mobile data plan for the camera.
