Arlo Go not detecting motion after being away a few hours

I have an Arlo Go pointed at my front door. The motion detection test works and it detects motion and records when i'm home, but when i leave for a couple hours and come back the motion detection doesn't work. It doesn't record me entering my home and I can stand right in front of it waving my hand and it still won't detect motion & record.

It works when i'm home but when i leave for a few hours and come back it doesn't detect motion and record.

Can someone help?
