App doesn't recognize my phone

I recently factory reset my phone. Now the app doesn't recognize the phone that I'm using. It wants to send push notifications to devices or emails that are no longer available. Why does it not want to send a notification to my registered phone number and email address that I have on the app?

It should be sending email to your account username. Are you saying it is not doing that when you choose email verification?
