I found out that one need to deactivate the pin code for the SIM for that to work in a Arlo device. I was surprised this was not mentioned in the user manual.

I am having this exact same error when attempting to add the Go2. It reads: Error occurred
The operation couldn't be completed. (ArloNetwork-ing.ServerResponseError error
1.) at the point of naming the camera. I have tried logging off, uninstalling the app, everything I was asked to in the chat to no avail.

Reached out to chat support. They ask for the SN and did something to reset and resync for it to work.

I am currently having this issue. Was there ever a solution to the problem? I have tried to connect the Arlo Go 2 devices several times both on the app and on the website. I get this error either way, and it isn't my internet that is the issue. I've tried repeatedly for days now to troubleshoot this issue, but everything that has been suggested has not worked.

I am struggling with the same issue. Someone from Arlo reached out to set up an appointment and then ghosted me for the next string of emails trying to get the appointment set up! It’s been yet another week and i still have a camera that is as good as paper weight!

I’m not sure if your camera is preowned or refurbished, but mine was. After trying absolutely everything and talking to a couple of different representatives, one of them finally determined that they needed to boot the camera off of the previous owner’s account. Once I proved that I actually bought it, they were able to do that and I have had no issues since then.
