Hi there,
I am currently providing IT support for 2 school campuses. Both schools have recently acquired new areas that we intend to monitor using Arlo Go 2 cameras. I aim to manage all devices across both sites using my existing Arlo account and dashboard.
Here is a summary of the situation:
One of the areas has been successfully monitored with Arlo Go 2 cameras using SIM cards for the past two months.
I have now received additional Arlo Go 2 units for the new areas, and I plan to connect these to Wi-Fi networks.
However, I’ve encountered a couple of issues and would appreciate your support:
a) I am unable to add new devices or create new locations in my Arlo dashboard.
– What could be causing this?
– Is there a limitation on the number of locations per account, or could this be a technical issue?
b) The website and dashboard interface are behaving unpredictably (e.g., slow loading, buttons not responding, etc.).
– Is this a known issue?
– Could this be related to account limits, browser compatibility, or server-side problems?

First, I would STRONGLY suggest creating a school account for these cameras so that when you leave for any reason the only thing the school will need to do is possibly change the password. Having them in your personal account can create major issues for the school as various entities posting here over the years can attest to.
A) What happens when you try to create the new location? Have you rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app? I don't know about a restriction of the number of locations but I seem to remember something about 3 or so causing a problem (maybe or maybe not). @JamesC , @ShayneS , @BrookeN any comments?
B) Obviously, occasional slowness due to anything in the World Wide Wait can cause this. WHat phone, OS version, computer OS, ISP, network connection, etc.? Is it different between cell and WiFi connections? What about different locations?
