Will the Arlo Go 2 work WITHOUT subscription as the current Arlo Go does even after 3 months?

Will the Arlo GO 2 work WITHOUT a subscription just as the current Arlo GO does. In other words could you just configure it in to replace one of your existing Arlo Go cameras? Nothing to do with a 3 months subscription at all.

When setting up your Arlo Go 2, you will automatically receive a 3-month trial to Arlo Secure, allowing for cloud storage. After the trial expires, you will need to purchase an Arlo Secure subscription to continue enjoying the same benefits you had with the trial. You also have the option of installing a micro-SD card for local storage backup.
