smart hub VMC 5000 start a set for Arlo camera step 1 connect to Arlo wifi for iPhone  .iPhone settings set Arlo wifi phone wants a password what could be the password be tried my Arlo password won't except need help thanks

No, that is not step one when adding a VMB5000 base.

 

The base is connected to your router with ethernet.  You connect your phone to your home wifi network, and then add the base with "add device".  You can also do this on a PC, by browsing to my.arlo.com.

 

The base wifi is closed, and only used by the cameras.  You can't join it from any other device, or change the wifi settings.

 

If you are trying to connect a camera through the base, the process is similar - but the details depend on which camera model you are talking about.
