If I continue to get messages on my phone saying it is not recognized ( simply because it is now a dial sim phone) I will bin all my Arlo cameras and cancel my current agreement !!!

What is a dial sim phone?
If you have a new phone, had you tried trusting it in the web app my.arlo.com using a pc browser?

I think @Corvette_427 meant to type "dual sim".
It'd be useful to know if any others with dual sim phones have this issue.

Thank you all for assistance. I have discovered when I went dual sim to one phone it thought I had too many devices connected through the old phone. Reduced devices seems to have corrected the issue.

Hi All, both my phones were accepted as Arlo numbers. When I ch as need to dual SIM cards on the one phone my issues started. It kept sending messages to my old phone asking to recognise my other number!!!!

You can only select one mobile device as primary to receive the 2fa push requests in app.
You can choose another method to receive requests such as a sms code or email. Not possible to enter the codes using the same mobile device that requires trusting though. You would need to use a pc or another mobile.
If you have both numbers on the sim trusted you will only receive a push request for the mobile that has been set as primary.
the 2fa management is under settings/profile/ login settings/two step verification.
