My Essential XL with spotlight needed a charge. Now, after plugging in overnight, it will not activate. about every 5 seconds, I hear a click and the infrared lights blink. Tried holding the sync button down to reset but not working. Help?

Try removing the camera from your account and then use the following instructions to perform a factory reset: https://kb.arlo.com/000062438/How-do-I-factory-reset-and-re-sync-my-Arlo-camera

 

It is important that you hold down the sync button long enough to see the LED behavior mentioned in the article above. After the reset is complete, attempt to re-onboard the camera to your account as if it were new.
