Why isn’t my wireless cameras working with the electricity out? Shouldn’t it?

Our electricity is out so all my cameras are offline. I know the internet is down but all my cameras are fully charged. I know this may be a stupid question but I’m new to this. I read its a cloud issue, can I switch that off somehow until the electricity come

The arlo cameras need to have internet access to access the cloud storage for recordings.

Some users have resorted to using a UPS to try and maintain power on the internet equipment until the outage is over.
