Do l need another base station for the Arlo Essential VMC 2330 to avoid monthly subscription.

Any arlo camera model after the arlo pro2 requires a subscription to record to the arlo cloud library. 

 

To establish local storage capability the cameras need to be connected to a VMB4xxx Base station to store to USB devices.

 

To be able to view the local storage in app they need to be connected to a arlo hub 4540 or 5000.
