My internet went down and I have been unable to reconnect my Arlo with Wi-Fi. I am not connected to a base station, but I have been trying to connect with the 2.4 Wi-Fi on my router/modem. So far no luck pairing. Any suggestions? Will I be able to reconnect without a subscription?

Yes, onboarding doesn't need a subscription.

Has anything changed with the wifi settings (security, network name, network password)?
Assuming no, then I suggest
- turning off 5 ghz wifi temporily if your router lets you do that.
- do a factory reset on the camera ( https://kb.arlo.com/000062438/How-do-I-factory-reset-and-re-sync-my-Arlo-camera ) and re-add the camera. Make sure you specify Essential Spotlight when you re-add (just Essential won't work).
If you still have trouble using the app, switch to a PC/Mac (browsing to my.arlo.com).
