Even though my VMC 2030 is powered down (I only use it while on vacation) it’s still losing battery power at a fast rate. I’m going less than two months before it dies. My Arlo pros last for maybe a 8-10 months at least if they’re turned off. Any thoughts?

The camera battery could faulty, be aware that although you turn off the camera via the app camera settings it still runs the camera electronics so you can turn it back on again.
The main purpose for turning of the camera is for privacy.
Options I see are to use a solar panel to top up the battery or externally power the camera with a outdoor power cable and adapter.
The question as to why the other cameras batteries last longer is likely due to design.

Define "powered off" - turned off in the camera settings or disarmed? That doesn't actually turn it off since the camera still needs to be able to communicate to be able to be turned back on. Since you can't remove the battery, you really can't turn it off.
It may be a communication issue with your hub or router, depending on how it's connected. If there's poor signal strength and/or quality, the camera's radio is going to keep trying extra hard to stay connected. Did you change something that could cause this to happen?
