Spotlight essential won’t connect.

For days I’ve been trying to connect this camera and about to give up on it. If read the discussions with people have the same issue and they say to charge the camera, to hard reset it, to delete the app, nothing seems to work. It just chimes then blinks for like 30 seconds then powers off. For something priced at $150 you would think they’d make it easy to connect and at this point what is stopping me from just buying a Ring camera.

First, make sure you're choosing the spotlight camera to add, not the one without a spotlight - there's a difference.

 

Try resetting:

If still no good, swap at the store.
