This is for VMC2030 cameras. I am still not sure what the official name of that is, there are multiple versions of the name, correct?

The software for my two cameras have been upgraded now. Now I am getting email alerts and no alerts to my phone, called push alerts I assume. The opposite of what I was getting. Now when I go to Routines | Modes | Arm Away then select a camera then in the Edit Rule form I go to Send Notification under Email is Enable Action. Is that how I disable the email notification? When I disable it then click Save then click Save again (for the Edit Rule form) then I get the spinning cursor and then nothing happens after that. It just stays with the spinning cursor. I normally use Microsoft Edge but this happens the same for Google Chrome, Firefox and Opera.

In the Android application I can save the change but the change is not saved. After saving when I go back it has not changed.

How can I change the rule? Probably I need to open a support case but I am first asking here.

With this new software we get two steps backward for each step forward. I think that Arlo now has a multi-platform application.

Try rebooting the phone and reinstalling the app. You may want to try rebooting the cameras, too, if connected to WiFi or reboot your hub if that's how they're connected.

I apologize. The spinning cursor happens when I use the Arlo website in my desktop computer. So the phone is not relevant then. I also described what happens when I use the phone. I might try uninstalling the smartphone application, rebooting, then re-installing but I will be very surprised if that accomplishes anything more than being able to say I tried it. The problem appears to be server-side.

I haven't seen this with either the Android app nor web client - I use both. I suppose it could be something to do with your account - if so, you'd need to use Settings ("person" icon at the top left in the app), Support Center and click on one of your cameras to get access to the official support folks.

I did say Probably I need to open a support case; I am aware of using the Support Center.

When I look at the browser's developer tools (they are nearly the same for all browsers) I see the following error; I am omitting many lines of additional data. I will submit a support case.
