Purchased the Arlo essential spotlight camera.. it’s connected to wifi. But still shows all 3 cameras to be offline!!! My wifi shows good . Can someone point out what’s wrong ? Am I supposed to buy a plan before it’s activated or is it just junk ?

No. You should have been opted into the trial subscription automatically (and the cameras should be on-line even if they are in the subscription plan).
- Were they ever on-line?
- Does moving one of the cameras close to the router make any difference?
- Have you tried charging one of the cameras (since it will go off-line if the battery drains)
Note you can access phone support using the subscription area of the app. Don't google for a phone number, that will lead you to a scam support site.
