Ever since the last update late yeasterday, I cannot get the cameras to stop motion detecting and semding notifications.  I have it setup to be i. Stnadby mode between 7 am and 10 pm, but it just won't stop.  They are about to find the garbage bin.

Do they stop when you manually put the system into standby mode?

Can you post screenshots of your two automations?

I also had this problem and somehow managed to find the motion sensitivity settings to change them.

I also changed all the settings to people only but it will still record motion. So I turned off all motion and it didn't record anything at all. So I turned all motion back on and still getting notifications for all motion when I only want people. The app is challenging and I wish you luck.

Note that Smart Notifications are used only to identify the subject - all recordings are still made and displayed. From the FAQ about this:

When important motion is triggered on your camera, you will first receive a push notification with a thumbnail image from the video. Once the video has completed recording, a second push notification is sent to replace the first, providing a thumbnail video preview.

  • Note: If the first push notification is closed before the recording has completed, a second push notification will still be received when the recording is complete with the thumbnail video.

Recordings and Smart Notifications are related but don't affect each other. I just turned off All Motion for one camera in my system and get recordings noted as Motion which would be correct. Smart Notifications don't filter out recordings, they are used to identify what caused the recording. It's only a notification, not a filter.
