My cameras still work but it will not record on my base station. Could someone help me find out why.

What model? Look for a VMBxxxx label on the base. Only the two smarthubs (VMB4540 and VMB5000) support the direct access to local storage feature. Other models support local recording, but not playback. With those models you need to connect the storage to a PC to view the recording.
