My Essential with Solar gets an error at night "AC power has been disconnected ..Zones disabled"

Firmware 1.080.2.3.1_13_45a

Full sun during day. Always 100% at sunset.

Fault occurs sometime at night.

 

Issue is that activity zones are disabled and that is exactly the time I want the camera to trigger. Therefore pretty useless as a night time security camera.

Do you have an active Arlo Smart subscription or trial plan for the camera? Does the issue always occur every night or is it intermittent? Do you see this on both the web client and the mobile app?

The problem has been identified by Arlo support. I had purchased a VM3600 solar panel and it’s marked a VM3600 and according to support the serial number is actually a VM5600 which is used by Arlo 3 and could cause the issue. Been waiting for an RMA for over two weeks to have it replaced but the system says If you return a 5600 you get a 5600 back. If anyone has this issue give support you serial number and ask them what it is!!!
