Light does not shut off on Essential Camera model VMC2030

Good Morning-I recently purchased an Arlo Essential wireless camera. Two months in, when I charge the camera the light on the device does not shut off draining the battery in less than 12 hours. Model is VMC2030 Hardware H8 and Firmware 1.9.090.27.3_26_cddOf76! I can not get it to change! Can anyone help with this issue please?
